Tyder's Techniques

My character kind of sounds overpowered... but who hasn't used so many different abilities before? Im just listing ones i've used. Even if i have only used them once and never again.


Offensive Magic Abilities

Technique Name: Forest Thorns
Technique Origin: Feldin
Technique Type: Offensive
Technique Description: Forest thorns is an ability inate to all forest dwells. It allows the user to send sharp, lacerating, shrapnel-like thorns towards the target. This can slice through skin and rip arteries. However, it is useless against armoured bodies.

Technique Name: Forest vines
Technique Origin: Feldin
Technique Type: Bind
Technique Description: This draws vines from the body to wrap around (or even attack) the target. It can be used to bind the body or even cause bones to be crushed.

Technique Name: Nature's blast
Technique Origin: Feldin
Technique Type: Offensive - Energy
Technique Description: This draws the users energy (in the case of Tyder - Nature) to come forth. Then, by shaping it into a ball type shape, he can send it off at his target, usually causing them to be knocked back.

Offensive Physical Abilities

Technique Name: Matter Form
Technique Origin: Feldin
Technique Type: Creation
Technique description: This ability allows Tyder to make weapons out of energy and matter. For example, he commonly creates a bow out of wood by forming the wood and shaping it with his energy. This is simmilar to his innate ability of creating vines and wood from his own body.


Defensive Magic Abilities

Forest synthesis is the ability to merge your body and mind to that of a plant, tree or any other living part of nature. It allows the user to expand its mind through the links of those plants and divulge in its memories. It allows itself as a great defense and stealth approach to a battle for the user can hide it's body or hold the strength of the tree at their limbs.

Restricted to: Forest Dwellers (However, They can pass the knowledge to one other person in their lifetime. This person cannot pass it down)

Technique type: Transformation [Mind, Body and Soul


Defensive Physical Abilities

These are pretty limited to Tyder. Most of his defense relies on magic but he can form wood to act as shields and repellants.




Other Abilities (E.g. Healing etc)

Technique Name: Nature's Bathe.
Technique Origin: Feldin
Technique Type: Healing
Technique Description: This allows the user to use their natural energy to close open wounds, stop bleeding and even mend bones. It can also cleanse their mental state if willed upon by the user. This can stop headaches and all mannor of magical afflictions. For example, a confusion charm.

Technique Name: Beast Tongue
Technique Type: Passive
Technique Description: This allows the user to be able to converse with many different animals, at will.

Technique Name: Kuria-Joukei
Technique Type: Vision
Technique Description: This allows Tyder to get better views at things. E.g. in the dark. He can also see people's life force with this technique. He can kind of get their personalities through the colour of their life force. Kuria-Joukei means Clearsight

Tyder also posseses a unique ability. When in combat or perhaps in a situation that scares him or causes a massive surge of emotion, his body begins to take a transformation. This transformation (viewable on his character bio) causes his skin to turn wood-like, Lignumvitae wood to sprout from his body as a kind of armour along with other things. He becomes one with nature. This is called Etai Henshin which litterally means Nature Transformation.
